Hand Dyed Fabrics

Fox and Rabbit Designs specialises in reproduction samplers, original samplers in a antique style and hand dyed unique linen colours designed for samplers.

All fabrics are sold in 1 yard pieces, which are serged (overlocked). Fabric counts and sizes are pre-dye. We do cut our fabrics slightly larger than 1 yard to account for any shrinkage and uneven cuts.

We make no guarantee of colourfastness of our fabrics. These fabrics are hand dyed using commercial dyes and are washed multiple times before we ship, but still could contains some residual inert dye. With any hand dyed fabric (not just ours), we recommend that if you plan on washing your project, you wash the fabric on a gentle cycle in your washing machine before stitching.

Duxbury and Mayflower are stained fabrics and cannot be washed.
